Watch: Two workers lucky to be alive after strap breaks on crane

A shocking video apparently from Germany shows a very near miss – and is also a good reminder not to stand under a load.

The video, posted to YouTube by 56aktuell, shows two men walking under the load as a strap holding what the description calls a 68-ton machine breaks. The headline of the video says it was shot in Boppard, Germany.

A translation of the caption, posted in German on YouTube, reads: “Only a kinked steel support prevented the 68-ton machine from completely burying the men under itself.”
